What You Will Have an Opportunity to Do Maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic of the hotel ensures guests return and recommend our properties. The housekeeping team plays a critical role in daily operations. We seek individuals with keen attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as House Attendants. The role is the “Heart of the House” and provides essential services that allow guests to fully relax during their stay. Your Role Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other items to guest rooms upon request Perform duties of a room attendant when necessary Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry Help room attendants with heavy lifting during deep or spring cleaning Clean all public areas according to departmental standard operating procedures Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and dispose properly Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and team members Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable Neat, pleasant personality Strong time management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Excellent communication skills Physical strength to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places; ability to operate equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters Capacity to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
