Fidalgo Island Dental is a privately owned dental practice seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We take pride in providing quality patient care in a welcoming environment where teamwork, positivity, and professionalism come first.

$24+ hourly DOE

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their dental visit.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials for scheduled procedures.
• Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and other dental procedures by providing efficient chairside support.
• Take digital dental X-rays and update patient medical histories and clinical records.
• Perform expanded functions within the scope of your Washington State credentials and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with treatment coordination as needed.
• Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and reinforce good oral hygiene practices.
• Follow established infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
• Work closely with the dentist and team members to help keep the daily schedule running smoothly.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace.

• Current Washington State Registered Dental Assistant credential, as applicable to the position.
• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience with dental practice management software, digital X-rays, and electronic patient records.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• A friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently while supporting a small team.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality patient care.
