Software Developer - Front End

Job Summary Our client, a leading Financial Services provider, is seeking a Software Developer - Front End to join their team. This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia or Irving, Texas. Core Responsibilities Develop websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle (including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining). Work with project managers using traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development. Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 10+ years of experience in design, development and triaging for large, complex systems. 5+ years of microservices development. 3+ years working in Spring Boot. Experienced using API development tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, Git, Cucumber. Hands‑on experience in building microservices‑based applications using Spring Boot and REST, JSON. DevOps understanding – containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD. Experience in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka. Excellent understanding of file transfer protocols like FTP, FTSP, SFTP. A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications. Strong design and coding skills in Typescript/Javascript, and/or React. Firm understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of platforms, including first‑time user experience, battery life, connectivity issues, and perceived performance. Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team. Hands‑on experience with JavaScript frameworks. Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards. Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design. Experience with common front‑end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc. Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice‑to‑Haves) Experience in financial domain. Key Competencies & Behaviors Front‑end application development. Automation of workflows and processes to improve efficiency. Strong ability to analyze and interpret business and technical requirements. Production support and troubleshooting of complex issues.Effective collaboration with offshore and cross‑functional teams. Work Environment Location: Atlanta, GA or Irving, TX. Hybrid. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $57.00 and $67.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
