Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.

• Providing both short-term and long-term psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups in a remote setting.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation according to clinic protocols and New York State regulations.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow therapists to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive care experience for clients.

• Engaging in regular supervision and team case consultations to continually enhance your clinical skills and contribute to team learning.

• Advocating for client needs, referring them to additional resources and services to optimize their treatment and wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, underserved communities, and those facing socioeconomic challenges. Experience with populations such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, and other marginalized groups is highly valued. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, although newly licensed LCSWs are also encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective client interactions and collaboration with team members.

• A deep commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusivity in mental health care practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
