Shift Schedule: 830a-3p (lunch 12p-1p)

Call Schedule: 7a-7a

Call Ratio: 1:4

Ave. No. of Callback: Less than 1 per 24-hr shift (will receive calls from answering service)

No. of Nursery Admissions: 2-3 per day

Physicians in Practice: 4

Support Staff:

- OBHG hospitalist, Surgical Assistants

- 3 to 4 Nurses each shift

Required Procedures:

- C-Section, Vaginal Deliveries, Suction D&C

- Ectopic Pregnancies, Ovarian Torsion

- Abnormal Bleeding

No. of Beds: 9 (L&D); 20 (Postpartum)

Trauma Level: III

EMR: Epic

Other Info:

- If taking clinic, night call would not be required after clinic days.

- MFM will handle most high-risk patients.

- Laborist will take care of the unreferred

patients in the hospital for deliveries & rounding.

Requirements:

Active VA License

BC (ABOG)

BLS

VA DEA & CSR

Clean record

NPDB report

Must be able to cover clinic + call coverage

Must be able to cover dates listed
