Job Description:Job Summary: Conducts experiments, tests, and assembles prototypes, analyzes data to support the development and improvement of products.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.Provide technical support to engineers and other team members in research, development, testing, and maintenance activitiesConduct complex tests, experiments, and validation procedures on equipment, systems, and components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends, anomalies, and correlations to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth project progression.Manage and maintain advanced technical equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory facilities, ensuring proper functioning and calibration to support engineering activities.Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing test procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards throughout the engineering process, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, technicians, and project managers, fostering a collaborative work environment, and sharing technical expertise.Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in engineering operations.Ability to locate diagrams and drawings independently within the AAON database.Education and Experience Requirements:Degree(s): Associate’s Degree in HVACLicense(s): EPA 608 and A2L certificationCertification(s): NoneTwo-year HVAC degree from a technical schoolRecommended 4-6 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.Education or experience beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrates leadership abilities.Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.Possesses excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.Work Environment:Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team environment.Works in lab and shop with periodical visits to the office.Facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.Lift up to 50 lbs., climbing, stooping, sitting, or standing for prolonged periods.Disclaimer:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
