Equipment Support Engineer

job summary:
We are searching for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer in the Boise, ID area to maintain and troubleshoot vacuum equipment. Experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred but not required. Candidates should have an Associate's Degree and 2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience. Experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus.

This is a direct-hire role with great benefits starting day one (Medical, Dental, PTO, etc.). Overtime at time and a half pay is available if the candidate is interested.

Relocation assistance is provided for non-local candidates.

responsibilities:

• Responsible to monitor, inspect, setup, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment in the field to prevent equipment down time

• Troubleshoot hardware and software related issues and implement solutions

• Accurately document all maintenance activity and provide field service reports

• Collect data for software related issues and discuss with headquarters

• Participate in the installation of equipment at customers' site

• Provide training and assistance to customer engineering team
