Senior Solutions Engineer – Brazil (US Based) Distributed Available Location: Miami or Austin. Responsibilities Drive technical discussions and implementations as critical members of Cloudflare’s sales team to generate new business, expand existing business, and keep customers happy. Qualify prospects and customers, discover technical requirements, lead demonstrations, identify and design solutions, and collaborate on proofs‑of‑concept (PoCs). Provide technical best‑practice guidance, implementation support, and strategic advice on internet security and performance to existing customers. Travel 20‑30% to meet prospects, attend conferences, and collaborate with teammates. Requirements Expertise in internet technologies (OSI model layers 1–7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, SSL/TLS). Familiarity with Zero‑Trust Framework and SASE concepts. 12+ years in a customer‑facing sales or consulting role. Technical curiosity and passion for staying current with Cloudflare’s products and industry trends. Focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth. Strong project‑management, relationship‑building, and emotional‑intelligence skills. Experience building or contributing to web applications meaningfully. Understanding of firewalls (L3, L4, L7) and ACLs.Ability to explain CSRF, XSS, and SQLi and Cloudflare’s defensive roles. Experience with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC‑2. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (not strictly required). Bonus Points Graduate‑level degrees in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields. Relevant certifications. More About You Translate technical concepts for audiences ranging from systems engineers to C‑level executives. Continuously learn and share knowledge through blogs, demos, and training. Creative problem‑solving for evolving product suites. Strong project‑management and prioritization skills.
