Director IT Operations:On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Director IT Operations for a permanent role. This position is remote but preferably in larger markets such as Chicago, Charlotte, or Atlanta.Director IT Operations - Job Description:The Director of IT Operations is a newly created leadership position responsible for ensuring the reliable, resilient, secure, and consistent delivery of technology services across the division. This role will focus on establishing clear accountability, improving resilience, and aligning divisional technology services with business objectives and enterprise standards.Director IT Operations - Responsibilities:• Lead technology service delivery and infrastructure operations • Oversee network infrastructure, communications, and end-user technologies • Manage divisional cybersecurity operations and Microsoft 365 operations • Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans • Ensure operational documentation and knowledge transfer • Use operational metrics for continual improvement and manage vendor performance • Develop leadership and succession planning within the operational teams • Partner with Group IT and other cross-functional teams Director IT Operations - Mandatory Skills:• Progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT Operations • Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networking, and endpoint services • Experience improving service delivery and operational reliability • Expertise in business continuity and disaster recovery • Experience leading major incidents and service-restoration efforts • Strong executive and stakeholder communication skills • Ability to work effectively within a federated or matrixed organization Director IT Operations – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Cisco/Meraki technologies • ITIL certification or practical service-management experience • Experience with enterprise monitoring and lifecycle management • Experience partnering with ERP and Enterprise Applications teams • Experience managing operational budgets and strategic vendors Director IT Operations – Assignment Length:This is a permanent position.Director IT Operations - Start Date:ASAPDirector IT Operations - Assignment Location:Remote, with preference for candidates in larger markets such as Chicago, Charlotte, or Atlanta. Regular travel for in-person collaboration is required.
