Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, embracing detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through adept interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Engage collaboratively with surgical teams to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, comprising operating room preparation, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and facilitating surgical instrument transfers
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical experience is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensing (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
