Job Summary
The Physical Therapist – Early Intervention & Specialty Programs (Pelvic Health) is a blended clinical role at the Children's Developmental Center (“the Center”) that combines two areas of practice. In the early intervention portion of the role, the Physical Therapist designs and delivers comprehensive, family-centered evaluations and early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays, using a combination of direct services and a parent coaching model in the child's natural environment — including homes, childcare settings, and community spaces. In the specialty portion of the role, the Physical Therapist provides specialized evaluation and treatment for children, birth through 20 years of age and adolescents, with pelvic floor dysfunction, bowel and bladder concerns, incontinence, and pelvic or abdominal pain, delivered in clinic or via telehealth.
Across both areas of practice, the Physical Therapist uses a family-centered care model to deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions and caregiver education, empowering families to foster their child's growth through tailored strategies that align with each child's unique needs.
