You'll be trusted to make decisions, develop your team, strengthen supplier relationships and drive improvements that directly support the company's continued growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in developing sourcing strategies, improving supplier performance and supporting the successful delivery of new projects, with genuine opportunities to progress into senior supply chain leadership. In this role, you'll lead the purchasing function, negotiate commercial agreements, manage supplier performance, develop your team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure materials and services are delivered efficiently. You'll also help improve purchasing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives and support wider operational objectives. This role would suit a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, Commodity Manager or Senior Buyer with leadership experience within a manufacturing environment who is looking for greater autonomy, long-term progression and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. The Role Lead the purchasing function across both strategic and operational activities. Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance. Negotiate commercial agreements and identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead and develop the purchasing team while driving process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and business objectives. The Person Purchasing or Procurement leadership experience within manufacturing. Strong sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiation skills. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
