Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our steel fabrication facility located in Villa Park, IL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. If you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of steel fabrication products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality of fabricated components.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Complete First Article of Inspection
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in training team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies.
- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and measurement tools./ Calipers etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
