Field Sales Representative

Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Field Sales)

Location: Lebanon, NH (Candidates must reside within approximately 40 minutes of the assigned location)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $29.00/hour (W2) + Uncapped Performance-Based Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join a dynamic field sales team focused on expanding partnerships with small and medium-sized businesses. This is an outside sales role that requires traveling throughout an assigned territory, meeting business owners face-to-face, and driving new customer acquisition.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys building relationships, prospecting for new business, negotiating opportunities, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Prospect and engage small business owners through face-to-face meetings, cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct consultative sales presentations to demonstrate the value of available products and services.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation, closing, and customer onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Meet and exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
• Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings and local business events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful sales experience in a closing, business development, account executive, or outside sales role.
• Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) is highly preferred.
• Strong prospecting, cold calling, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation .

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory.
• Frequent local travel with occasional overnight travel as business needs require.
• Travel expenses are reimbursed.
