RN supervisor

Registered NursePart-time/Full time 7am-7pm and 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7amApex Rehabilitation & Care Center is looking for a passionate and hard-working Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team! We offer 12 hours shifts for supervision on weekends for LTC facility. Must have LTC experience.Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse Supervisor:As an Registered Nurse, you will guide and direct the activities of certified nursing assistants and LPN's, review and modify care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, attend care planning and discharge planning reviews, and provide patient/family education.You will also be responsible for administering medications and treatments, performing special tests, documenting treatment, and responding to patient care emergencies.Perform required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies and procedures, follow DOH guidelines.Develop care plan that demonstrates knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents specific needs based on health care problem(s)Carry out care plan that demonstrates familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomesImplement physicians' orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulationsQualifications of a Registered Nurse (RN):Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBSN preferred (associates is excepted with experience in LTC).Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written and long term care experience.Must be creative and have good observations and analytical skills with leadership skills.What We Offer:We offer competitive salaries, generous PTO packages, health and dental benefits, 401k plans, career development, paid orientations, innovative training programs, monthly employee recognition programs, and much more!Generous PTO packageHealth/Dental Benefits401k planCareer developmentPaid orientationInnovative training programsMonthly employee recognition programsAnd much more!If you're looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we want to hear from you!
