Position Strength and Conditioning Intern Location: 5 Tool Performance — Westwood, MA Commitment: 3 Days per Week | 5–6 Hours per Day About the Role 5 Tool Performance is seeking a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Intern to learn how to assist and lead in athlete development, performance testing, and training implementation. This position offers hands‑on experience in an advanced, data‑driven training environment that blends biomechanics, physiology, and sport‑specific performance — particularly in baseball. Responsibilities Assist with daily training sessions across youth, high school, and college‑level athletes. Support testing protocols including range of motion testing, jump profiling, and isometric strength assessments. Aid in data collection, organization, and athlete tracking and training. Help set up and maintain training equipment and technology. Observe, learn, and apply biomechanical and physiological principles in live sessions. Requirements Strong anatomical understanding and foundational knowledge in Biology, Anatomy, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field. Prior experience working with athletes (preferred, not required). Passion for baseball and human performance. Excellent communication, observation, and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn in a high‑performance environment.
