Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Level III Trauma Center. This role involves managing diverse emergency cases in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating clinical expertise and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, delivering prompt and effective emergency care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with BLS, PALS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with recent ER experience of at least 3 assignments or 3 years.
• Demonstrate competency in Epic EMR documentation and workflows.
• Possess current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications; TNCC and ENPC strongly preferred.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• Show excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
