Per Diem Athletic Trainer

Role Description This is a per diem on-site role for a Per Diem Athletic Trainer located in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Athletic Trainer will provide immediate care during events, devise strategies for injury prevention and rehabilitation, advise on strength and conditioning programs, and support athletes in maintaining peak performance levels. This role requires collaboration with event organizers, coaches, and other professionals to ensure athlete safety and fitness throughout events and activities. Qualifications Strong skills in Injury Prevention, including the ability to assess risks and implement strategies to minimize injuries. Proficiency in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation practices to provide care and support for athletes during and after injuries. Experience with Strength & Conditioning programs to optimize performance and promote long‑term physical health. Knowledge of and commitment to Prevention practices to ensure safe and healthy athletic environments. Certification as an Athletic Trainer (BOC required). Applicant must hold individual liability insurance Adaptability to work in fast‑paced environments and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
