Enterprise Network Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in enterprise network engineering, routing, switching, and wireless architectures.

• Proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet network devices.

• Experience with routing protocols and technologies including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, Spanning Tree (STP), and high availability.

• Experience in network security technologies encompassing next-generation firewalls, VPNs, and Network Access Control (NAC).

• Experience with physical field deployment activities, including racking, stacking, structured cabling, and hardware testing.

• Experience in network monitoring tools, automation scripting using Python or Ansible, and ITIL change management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and support multi-vendor enterprise wired and wireless network routing and switching infrastructures.

• Configure, deploy, rack, stack, and cable network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, routing protocol, and performance degradation incidents.

• Administer network security platforms, firewall access policies, and virtual private network (VPN) tunnels.

• Execute scheduled firmware upgrades, OS patching, and network hardware lifecycle replacement projects.

• Author and maintain technical network topology diagrams, configuration baselines, runbooks, and incident records.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency incident response and after-hours infrastructure support.
