Radiologic Technologist I

Job Summary Provides general radiology and fluoroscopic imaging across various hospital departments, including emergency, surgery, and bedside services. Performs radiologic exams by following departmental protocols, positioning patients, selecting optimal technical factors, reviewing clinical histories, and consulting with radiologists and nurses. Ensures patient safety by verifying identities, maintaining privacy, and adhering to safety goals. Prepares contrast agents, sterile fields, and supplies, assisting radiologists during procedures. Post-processes images for interpretation, maintains equipment, and reports malfunctions. Provides compassionate patient care, explains procedures, and ensures safety precautions, including radiation safety principles. Participates in resuscitation efforts during emergencies, maintains departmental cleanliness, and shares on-call duties. Engages in ongoing education and departmental meetings. Qualifications & Skills Associates degree in radiologic technology or equivalent experience Hawaii Radiographer License, ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification, and BLS certification required Experience in trauma, fluoroscopy, and surgery preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
