Radiation Therapist II

Overview Cancer Care Northwest has been the Inland Northwest's premier cancer center for over five decades, providing an integrated approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and healing of cancer and blood-related diseases. We are a full-spectrum private oncology group in the Pacific Northwest and are seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join our multispecialty physician-owned practice. The schedule is Monday through Friday with on-call duties as needed. The role focuses on administering radiation therapy treatments, ensuring accurate positioning and dose delivery, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment in accordance with established protocols. Accurately position patients and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan. Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, treatment delivery, treatment records, radiation safety, and quality assurance functions. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process. Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards. Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment. Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed, including the hospital setting. Dedicate to patient care and safety. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. Minimum 3 years' experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
