Electrical Project Manager

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires effective coordination with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to deliver successful project outcomes in commercial and multi-family settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from design to execution
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Develop project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial constraints
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential project issues and implement mitigation strategies
• Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure project alignment and address any concerns
• Allocate resources effectively to optimize project performance and efficiency
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in commercial and multi-family construction
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
• Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and industrial electrical applications
• Experience with design-build project delivery methods
• Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
