Clinical Team LeaderCome join our team as a clinical team leader at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. The Nurse Unit Manager directly oversees the care delivery and process implementation on the nursing care units. The position ensures the needs of the residents, resident families and staff are met during the care delivery process.Salary range: $87,500-$97,500 annually with opportunity of further growth.ResponsibilitiesOversees the care delivery of patients on the nursing care units and acts as a resource nurse for the nursing staffTo expedite the patient and family adaptation to the geriatric environment through communication and educationCreates an environment of excellent care delivery by the nurses and nurse aides on the nursing care units.Monitors patient care and environment by making daily rounds independently and with the DONOversees implementation of proper infection control, wound care management and fall reduction processesNew patient admissions - assists with the new patient admission process and promotes the initiation of the new patient care plan (48-hour care plan) to ensure the needs are being metAssists nurses with the education new and/or inexperienced nurse aides in proper methods of patient careProvides ongoing in-service training on the spot as problems are identifiedAssists charge nurses during busy timesAccepts, researches and solves complaints/concerns per policy and procedurePerforms chart/charting audits to ensure proper care treatments and documentation of same as delegatedActs as a member of the Infection Control, Skin Integrity Team and Fall Reduction ManagementPerforms on-call services as required, ensuring adequate and safe staffingIs directly accountable to DON and ADON and is committed to keeping the director informed of all occurrences in the facilityAll other duties as delegated by the DON and ADONQualificationsMust be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, RN, and have a current license in the state in which he/she is practicing.Needs to be able to work well directly with residents, staff and families.Possesses good organizational skills and follow-up when issues occur.High level problem solving, system/process analysis, critical thinking skillsNeeds clinical leadership experience and good attention to detail to ensure the facility has appropriate clinical oversight and leadership to promote excellent care deliveryEastgatespring is an EOE/M/F/D/V and Smoke-Free WorkplaceEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
