Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This position requires expertise across multiple specialties, including Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various surgical techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Details

• Travel Experience: Required
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00) with rotating day off
• Call Requirements: Yes, 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 (Days, Nights, Weekends)
• Daily Census: 45 patients
• Number of Operating Rooms: 14

Required Experience

Candidates must possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:

• Orthopedic Surgery
• General Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Urology

Preferred Experience

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Davinci Robotics
• Endovascular Procedures
• Ophthalmology Procedures

Certifications

• Current BLS Certification

Charting System

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Patient Demographics

This position involves care for patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Work Environment

The Operating Room consists of 14 surgical suites, and the facility maintains a high standard of care. Shifts are organized with a focus on teamwork and collaboration among staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
