Job Description
Title: Cardiovascular OR Specialty Nurse

Schedule: Days, 10 hours, 40 per week

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license
- Experience in cardiovascular operating room settings

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement the nursing process based on advanced knowledge and clinical experience.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and families.
- Deliver patient care in complex, urgent, emergent, and life-saving situations.
- Coordinate surgical suite activities and prioritize directives during emergent situations.
- Participate in staff development and professional self-development.
- Act as a role model and team leader, assisting others in performing their responsibilities related to patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required.
- Some charge nurse responsibilities may be required.
