We’re looking for a working Shop Foreman who can lead our technicians, drive shop productivity, and handle advanced diagnostics. Tops wages for the right candidate, $40 an hour plus.
This is a leadership position inside a high-volume, well-established GM service department backed by the strength of the Chris Auffenberg Auto Group.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman/Technician to oversee our busy Auto Service Department. In this key leadership role, you’ll manage daily workflow, mentor technicians, ensure repair quality, and help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily shop workflow & dispatch support
- Perform advanced diagnostics & difficult repairs
- Mentor and train technicians & apprentices
- Ensure repair quality & proper GM procedures
- Support Service Advisors with estimates & timelines
- Maintain shop productivity, safety & morale
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years automotive technician experience
- GM experience strongly preferred
- GM Certifications or ASE Certifications a plus
- Leadership/Foreman experience preferred
- Strong electrical & drivability diagnostic ability
- Valid driver’s license
