Assistant Tennis Pro

The Assistant Racquets Sports Pro is responsible for is responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Racquet Sports in assuring the highest levels of service for members and their guests. This position is responsible for teaching members and guests and collaborating and supporting other racquet sports professionals.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Racquet Sports as directed in initiating, directing and promoting camps, clinics, special events and other programs, such as lessons and instructional programsResponsible for coaching the Junior League tennis team playResponsible for leading organized clinics as assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports. Must be flexible in moving other lessons if needed.Responsible for providing an exceptional member experience at all timesHelp maintain the Racquets facility, always ensure tidy and neat appearance, and assist with any tasks assigned for smooth operationsTimely communication with the Director and/or Assistant Director of Racquet Sports regarding any delays, expected lateness or member complaintsAdhere to all Club lesson rules, including those applicable to non-members or social membersRespond to member requests in a timely fashionAdminister and enforce Club Racquets policies and procedures regarding play on Club courtsOrganizes, administers and officiates at tournaments, exhibitions and inter- and intra-club social eventsEnsure accurate billing of all lessons and clinicsCover pro shop as neededCoordinate and assist with maintaining and operating Har-Tru Racquets courts, as neededMaintain a collaborative working relationship with the Director, Assistant Director and other Racquet sports professionals, as well as with membersOther work duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:NTRP Rating of 4.5 or higherProven professional communication skillsAbility to positively interact with a diverse population of members and playersAbility to work collaboratively within a teamProven experience demonstrating a positive approach towards teaching and mentoring Racquet Sports players at all skills, levels, and ages.Experience playing Racquet Sports at a collegiate level preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch
