Economics Foreign Teacher
Winter
- Native English speaker (UK/US/AUS/CAN/NZ preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business or related fields; Master’s degree is a bonus
- Valid teaching qualification: QTS, PGCE, TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certified teaching license
- Minimum 2 years formal experience teaching IGCSE/A-Level Economics at international schools
- Energetic, outgoing, patient; able to simplify complex economic theories for teenagers
- Love extracurricular tutoring, open to cross-cultural communication and teamwork
- Eligible to apply for legal Chinese Z work visa Core Responsibilities
- Deliver full-English Economics lessons for IGCSE/A-Level groups, design engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans matching Cambridge assessment standards
- Lead extracurricular economics activities: business competitions, stock market simulation, economic forums, university admission tutorial for economics majors
- Track student academic progress, give personalized feedback, hold regular parent-teacher conferences
- Collaborate with the international curriculum team to upgrade teaching resources, share creative teaching strategies
- Participate in school-wide international events, pastoral care and student mentorship programs
