Role Overview: Economics Foreign Teacher

We’re seeking a passionate, creative economics educator to lead our IGCSE & A-Level Economics classes for senior high students. Ditch dull textbook lectures—we want you to bring macro & microeconomics alive with real-world cases, market games, debate competitions and student enterprise projects!

Core Responsibilities

1. Deliver full-English Economics lessons for IGCSE/A-Level groups, design engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans matching Cambridge assessment standards

2. Lead extracurricular economics activities: business competitions, stock market simulation, economic forums, university admission tutorial for economics majors

3. Track student academic progress, give personalized feedback, hold regular parent-teacher conferences

4. Collaborate with the international curriculum team to upgrade teaching resources, share creative teaching strategies

5. Participate in school-wide international events, pastoral care and student mentorship programs

What We Hope You Bring

✅ Native English Speaker from Native English Speaking Countries
✅ Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business or related fields; Master’s degree is a bonus
✅ Valid teaching qualification: QTS, PGCE, TEFL/TESOL or equivalent certified teaching license
✅ Minimum 2 years formal experience teaching IGCSE/A-Level Economics at international schools
✅ Energetic, outgoing, patient; able to simplify complex economic theories for teenagers
✅ Love extracurricular tutoring, open to cross-cultural communication and teamwork
✅ Eligible to apply for legal Chinese Z work visa
