Job Title Adjunct Faculty, Department of Psychology, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Position Overview Adjunct faculty position in the Department of Psychology at William Paterson University. Responsibilities Develop a course syllabus following the departmental course outline and provided materials. Teach courses in a manner consistent with best practices in the discipline. Engage responsibly and reliably with students, providing support and guidance to contribute to their success. Qualifications Earned Master’s or PhD in Psychology. Preferred: one or more years of teaching in higher education. Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds. Good classroom presence and enthusiasm for teaching. Interest in professional growth. Responsive to student needs. Compensation Adjunct per credit rate: New employees – $2100 per credit; Employees with 13+ semesters at WP – $2175 per credit.
