Research Laboratory Animal Health Technician 4-Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Research Laboratory Animal Health cares for animals in the research setting.

Duties Include:

• Supports humane and responsible practices in compliance with regulations, accreditation standards, university policies, and sound research methods.
• Participates in planning, design, execution, and management of research projects investigating leukemias in animal models using a variety of skilled techniques.
• Acts as the leader of animal research projects
• Project work may include weekend and holiday work.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Animal Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• 6 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
