5G/4G Test Engineer <\/span><\/b>

Location – Santa Clara, California
<\/p>

Responsibilities:
<\/p>

• The feature Tester/system tester has end -to -end responsibility for the testing of specific sub -functional domains/areas (e.g. OAM, Orchestration, Automation, Mobility, etc.) within the 5G solutions team.
  <\/li>
• This includes developing test cases/procedures of modules/functionality, translating functional and non -functional system requirements to functional/system test cases.
  <\/li>
• In collaboration with System engineers, program managers, developers identify the scope and priority of development Epics to be validated.
  <\/li>
• Has end -to -end responsibility for the features in his/her domain and works with development & system engineering, to make sure integration and validation of feature/functionality is completed and verified according to functional/non -functional requirement.
  <\/li>
• Works with multiple team teams during early phases to understand technical studies and validate prototypes.
  <\/li>
• Required Qualifications:
  <\/li>
• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  <\/li>
• R&D testing experience including various testing tools.
  <\/li>
• 5+ years of Wireless testing experience
  <\/li>
• 2+ years of direct experience and deep technical knowledge of 4G LTE .

  Desired and preferred Skills:
  <\/p>

  • Experience with virtualized 3GPP RAN and/or Core technologies.
    <\/li>
  • Experience with O -RAN architecture and 5G NR standards
    <\/li>
  • Experience with common telecom network management systems and related protocols is a plus.
    <\/li>
  • Self -starter and highly motivated.
    <\/li>
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
    <\/li>
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge
    <\/li>
  • Outgoing and easy to cooperate
    <\/li>
  • Creativity and ability to independently formulate problems and solve them
