Clinic hiring for patient service coordinator.
Hours: M-F 7:30-4p
Type: contract to hire
- Ability to start ASAP
- At least 1 recent year of healthcare administration or front desk experience
- Epic experience
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fax system to review/disseminate incoming faxes, every 1-2 hours per day
- Review and upload signed consents, FMLA, workers comp forms, radiology reports, lab reports, etc. into patient charts
- Ensure iPads are sanitized and ready to hand out to patients
- Upload OR notes into patient charts
- Send Surgi-Care patient notes to support billing process for durable medical equipment
- Answer desk phone and disseminate calls
- Check in patients
- Collect copayments and ABNs completed
- Check out patients and schedule follow up appointments
