Wolfson Children’s Hospital is a pediatric hospital located in Jacksonville, FL. Up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Team in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time, day shift opportunity. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation. This part-time position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding. Job Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses. Provide extensive patient/family education. Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc. Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities. Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines. Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements. Experience Requirements 1 or more year(s) Developmental Experience Strongly Preferred Speech/Language Experience Required Voice Experience Preferred Neuro Experience Preferred Education & Credential Requirements Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
