Operations Lead Pharmacist - Inpatient (Pharmacist 4)

The Harborview Pharmacy Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Operations Lead Pharmacist - Inpatient (Pharmacist 4).

Work Schedule

• Part-Time / 35 hours per week
• Night Shifts

Position Highlights

• Assist the Inpatient Operations Manager with the implementation and evaluation of pharmacy services
• Be responsible for direction, development, implementation and evaluation of specific programs within the Pharmacy
• Be able to independently provide accountability for the area while functioning with a high-degree of autonomy

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsibility for all pharmacy functions during the night shift.
• Coordinate the scheduling for staff assigned to area if required.
• Direct the work of pharmacy staff assigned to the work area or shift including pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians.
• Detect, document and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors. Assist in developing safe medication practices to prevent errors.

Required Position Qualifications

Three years experience in pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the experience.
