Senior Industrial Engineer

Support the Industrial Engineering Team and Engineered Labor Standards program Perform process engineering, data collection and analysis, associate training, and program implementation and support Develop and maintain engineered labor standards for distribution functions across assigned C&S network facilities, including warehousing, transportation, and other relevant departments Study and analyze current processes, determine effectiveness, and recommend improvement strategies Implement and train DC management, supervision, and hourly support staff in methods and procedures to sustain productivity Engage associates to present engineering labor standards and increase understanding through change management strategies Develop and evaluate facility layout changes to improve productivity and efficiency Provide cost savings associated with facility layout changes Test labor-related improvements in EXE, Red Prairie, and other Labor Management Systems Perform other required duties and activities Support distribution centers across the country Work in office, perishable warehouse, freezer, and grocery warehouse environments Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative discipline required 5 to 7 years of distribution and warehousing experience Knowledge of warehouse/operations management, time studies, process planning/optimization, data mining, data analysis, and data visualization Experience with Labor Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, and SQL Developer Experience using Red Prairie's Labor Management System and/or EXE Warehouse Management System Experience using work study techniques such as stopwatch studies, work sampling, and predetermined time and motion systems (MTM, MOST) Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Flexibility to work outside normal work hours and travel to other facilities as needed Ability to walk and run Willingness to travel 75% Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in process engineering, data analysis, and labor management systems to enhance productivity and efficiency in distribution environments. Proficient in developing engineered labor standards and implementing training programs for operational excellence.
