About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, NICU experience required. License: Ohio Respiratory Therapy License required. Certifications: NRP Certification required, CRT or RRT Credential required. Must-Have: High School and College diplomas or transcripts required. Must have the license in hand. Description: Ohio Respiratory Therapy License is required. NRP Certification is required. CRT or RRT Credential is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU is required. High School and College diplomas or transcripts must be provided. Candidates must have their licenses in hand. Experience with the following is preferred: Nitric Oxide (iNO). High Frequency Oscillator. NAVA. Bubble CPAP. High-Flow Nasal Cannula. Neonatal Ventilator Management. High-Risk Deliveries. Skills required include: Assisting in high-risk deliveries. Bubble CPAP. CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP. High frequency oscillator. Intubation assistance. Neonatal transports (inter-departmental). NICU experience. Oscillating Ventilator operation. Patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance). Pressure/Volume Ventilator operation. Patient care details: Patient age groups: Neonates. Daily census: 40. Number of beds: 50. Interdisciplinary support available in respiratory services. Patient diagnoses include level 3 NICU and special procedures. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after accepting the position. References are required from 2 professional contacts. At least one reference must be from a managerial or leadership position. No coworker references are accepted. Travelers must comply with credentialing processes. Immediate local availability is preferred.
