Job Description
The Industrial Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal functionality within a small maintenance team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position requires hands-on expertise in hydraulic and mechanical systems without the need for travel between facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues effectively
- Perform installations of new machinery and components
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
- Collaborate closely with a small team (2-5 members) to complete tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in industrial mechanics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in mechanical repair and hydraulics
- Skilled in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Commitment to safety compliance
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
