Health and Safety Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular inspections and compliance audits to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Organize and deliver health and safety training, informing employees about risks and preventive measures. Supervise incident management and coordinate corrective actions at the plant level. Coordinate the implementation of health and safety standards, audit the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Develop and maintain emergency plans, organize simulation exercises, and monitor H&S indicators.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety in the manufacturing industry Understanding of OSHA guidelines and other state and local safety regulations Strong skills in risk identification, assessment, and incident analysis. Ability to organize and deliver H&S training and manage the use of PPE. Expertise in teaching proactive H&S risk management strategies at all levels of the organization. Skills in developing, maintaining emergency plans, and organizing simulation exercises.
