As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will operate X-ray screening equipment, inspect items and access points, monitor assigned areas, and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional, visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or property in accordance with established procedures, documenting and reporting prohibited items, irregularities, and other concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and control entry to designated areas, verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel and visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, reporting maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
