You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide helpful customer service to shoppers and store teams. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, receiving areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while maintaining a professional presence and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying emergency services and/or management when appropriate.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
