Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help control access, observe activity, and/or report concerns according to site protocols. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in a clear and timely manner, and/or report maintenance, access, or security‑related issues to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Be comfortable restraining combative individuals per client guidelines. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
