Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg - Meeker, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 8 weeks in a hospital-level Med/Surg unit. Weekly pay range: $2,041-2,118 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Days. This is a travel- temporary assignment requiring immediate availability and the ability to work in a hospital setting without holiday time off requests. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,041-2,118 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 08/31/2026 Housing: Housing may be provided; 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with rent paid; housing availability the day before start; distance rule applies (65+ miles from the facility); no pets and no smoking Responsibilities Deliver direct bedside care for adult patients in the Med/Surg unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring. Manage vital signs, clinical changes, and routine nursing interventions, with escalation as needed. Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders, adhering to policy, safety, and documentation standards. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to develop and update patient care plans; participate in handoffs and discharge planning. Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy of charting and adherence to infection control practices. Support patient safety and comfort, manage up to a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies per unit policy.
