Responsibilities Primary Network Development Engineer for the C2BMC program, supporting design, build‑out, deployment, integration, and testing of network upgrades to operational sites. Translate customer requirements and contract obligations into actionable plans. Travel to remote locations for installations and troubleshooting. Provide status updates to program personnel. Respond to real‑world events, including nights and weekends, as required. Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen; required to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance before starting (valid U.S. passport necessary). Security+ or other 8140‑compliant certification (e.g., GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, CISA). Foundational knowledge of network design, OSI model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Experience with multi‑vendor switching/routing (Juniper, Cisco) and WAN optimizers. Proficiency in firewall technologies (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto). Knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and advanced TCP/IP designs. Hands‑on expertise with network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with TACLANE devices and optical transport equipment. Ability to work within Agile/Scrum frameworks and manage contract‑driven deliverables. Ability to travel to alternate work locations for deployments and field projects. Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio. Preferred: Active TopSecret clearance.
