Chief Logistician

Chief Logistician Fort Bragg, North Carolina ATS is looking for a qualified Chief Logistician to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facility at Fort Bragg, NC. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee all logistics and supply operations in support of the Special Operations Mission Training Center, ensuring timely accountability, issue, receipt, and tracking of equipment and materials required for mission training. Administer Army supply systems and property accountability processes, utilizing GCSS-Army (GCSS-A) to manage transactions, inventory adjustments, hand receipts, lateral transfers, and equipment visibility in accordance with Army supply regulations. Maintain property book compliance and financial accountability, ensuring adherence to DoD property accountability policies, audit readiness standards, and installation procedures. Coordinate supply support and sustainment activities, including requisitions, turn-ins, recoverable items, sensitive items inventories, cyclic inventories, and reconciliation actions. Supervise and advise on supply program integration, ensuring effective coordination between technical supply operations and broader logistics and sustainment programs. Serve as primary logistics liaison between Government leadership, supported units, installation agencies, and supply support activities to resolve shortages, discrepancies, and accountability issues. Safeguard classified and sensitive equipment and documentation, operating in compliance with Secret clearance requirements and applicable security regulations. Experience and Qualifications High school diploma. Five years of experience in logistics. Knowledge of Army supply regulations. Knowledge of the accounting policies of the DoD Property Book regulations and policies. In-depth knowledge of Army Supply System. Two years of experience using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A). Special Job Requirements Certification through the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, or the International Society of Logistics. Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System. Knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships between technical supply operations and general supply support programs.
