Certified Nursing AssistantAs a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Monticello Hospital, you'll find purpose by bringing comfort and healing to our patients. In this position you will support Med/Surg department, Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit, and Emergency Department.Here are some ways you'll serve patients:Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient healthTransport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right timeInteract with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they healWalking – It's one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safelyAssist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.Schedule:Part-Time 48 hours every two weeksVariable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm (you would be working a combination of both shifts)Every 3rd weekend 7pm-7:30amRotating HolidaysPay and Benefits:Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience. Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hourBenefits include medical, dental, vacation accrual, retirement, and employee discounts.Qualifications:Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry.Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.Strong interpersonal human relations skills.Ability to read and communicate effectively in EnglishCentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
