WORK SCHEDULE Day Shift 100% FTE/Full-time Department Description The Plant Engineering Department at the UW Medical Center - Northwest helps UW Medicine fulfill its mission to improve the health of the public by ensuring general maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and quickly to maintain a safe patient care environment. Responsibilities Performs minor maintenance and repairs throughout the hospital Move furniture, cleans work areas, stocks shelves and replaces light bulbs Assists Senior Engineers, Carpenters, Painters and Electricians with troubleshooting and repairs Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years of maintenance experience Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
