Building Automation Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Building Automation Technician in Houston, TX to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial clients.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building automation and temperature control systems.
- Troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Analyze system alarms, trends, and historical data to diagnose operational problems.
- Verify proper operation of HVAC equipment through functional testing and validation.
- Support system upgrades, equipment replacements, and new installation projects.
- Configure system trends, schedules, alarms, and operator interfaces for end users.
- Coordinate with facility staff and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Document all service activities, findings, and recommendations in detailed reports.
- Follow all company safety protocols and customer site procedures.

Compensation and Logistics
