This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, payroll, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role plays a critical leadership position in ensuring financial integrity, operational compliance, and a positive workplace culture.Job Function:Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.Prepare bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.Manage a staff of 2 accounting coordinatorsAssist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations and adjustments.Review invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for accuracy.Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections as needed.Assist with financial reporting and preparation of management reports.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.Partner with an external HR counsel service on employee relations and compliance mattersSupport internal management on workplace conduct, policy adherence, and employee communications Work closely with operations, purchasing, sales, and management to resolve financial issues.Job Requirement:QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.7+ years of accounting experience - accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger accounting.Strong understanding of general accounting principles.Must have experience using ERP systems.Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and spreadsheets.Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.#IND2Contact Details:Rob ChaimowitzSenior Director of View email address on job-api.jobget.com
