Assignment Details

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or equivalent: Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification: Required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
- Collect and analyze relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation.
- Develop and implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healing environment.
- Provide education and learning opportunities for patients and families.

Compliance / Notes
- All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
- Holiday requests for time off (RTO) will not be approved.
